Problems with my weight.

I've bee trying constantly to lose weight since Halloween last year up until a few weeks, and I've seen no improvement in my weight. I have a large build, I'm five foot seven with a D bra size, (which may add to my weight) size ten top, and fourteen on bottom. I've always struggled with my weight as a child understandably up until now, but I've stopped eating as much, went on healthy eating diets with no fizzy drinks and sweets (chocolate, crisps, etc.) and was only allowing myself to drink water for months, and I've done dancing, Pilates and toning exercises trying get my body in shape by I'm still a bit over curvy. I don't have enough to go to the gym so that's off my list. I'm thinking of going to the doctor's about a blood test to see if my thyroid is making my metabolism dealy slow, but does anyone have any losing weight tips apart from what I've already tried? I'm at a loss.
