How much should a 5'7 tall model weigh?

I wanna get signed with this agency but I'm little worried I might be too curvy since they usually want sticks and skin. I weigh about 118 pounds and my measurements are 34c-24-36. Should I lose more weight?

I thought you had to be 5'8 to be a model.

I suppose it depends on what kind of model you want to be. I mean, for runway modelling - way too curvy. I mean, not fat at all - you're a completely good weight for modelling- but a 34C, that just doesn't happen on the runway really.

But other kind of modelling is always an option. There's more than runway - so I suppose it depends on what you want to do.

And it definitely not all about the body. Face is very important. You have to be interesting looking.

But get some shots done, send them out, and see what people in the business actually think.

Thanks well main reason I'm doing is my face, I have nice bone structure and pretty features but I'm not into commercial or swimsuit modeling I really wanna do fashion and runaway and yeah most agencies accept no shorter than 5'8 but if you look at famous models such as kate moss, laetitia casta, and a lot more others, they happened to break rule of being under 5'8.

Trust me I love my curves and if it was up to me I'd even gain some weight. Bone skinny doesn't even look attractive to me but that's what agencies want...

I think it is a good height, even taller than me..lolzzz. A good weight is expected from this height. But you already have 118 pounds, I think it is OK. Well technically underwieght but considering you are girl and a model too, this should be OK, I think.

From my understanding of modeling you do have to be a certain weight to certain types of modeling. So it would depend on what kind of modeling you get into. You sound perfect to me though :)

no 5'7 is the minimum for fashion, sometimes they even make exceptions for runaway. for cataloge and commercial I think its 5'6 or 5'5.

ah I see. I always think of these skinny giants when I think off models. but I think your weight is perfectly fine. any thinner and you'd be crossing the line
