I have a question for those who wear corrective lenses: do you wear them all the time? And do you find yourself to be more reliant on them then? (Page 2)
Yes I wear them and need them all the time. I agree with your husband that if he was to start wearing them all the time, he would need them all the time and would be dependent on them and unable to wear them only sometimes, like he does now.
Yes. And no. I will often not even put them on for hours if I haven’t left the house or needing distant vision. Usually a sign a headache is coming on though.
I've worn them for years and am pretty fortunate I can leave them in for days on end and my eyes don't get irritated. I wear the monthly wears and probably wear them for a month to 5 weeks total before changing them, but do wear glasses for a day or two in between changing to a new pair... actually I have glasses on right now. I can't stand wearing glasses though, such a pain in the ass to keep clean, deal with the glare of computer screens or the sun and they don't stay in place.
All the time. My distance vision is shitty. Not so bad that i can't navigate, but bad enough that i simply do not want to deal without wearing them. Plus when i dont wear them i feel somewhat dizzy and my depth perception is off.
Yeah I wear glasses. Had them for a couple years now. Wear them everyday. I can go without but not if I'm walking around because I get bad motion sickness
Been wearing contacts for so many years, it was due to sport but always felt more like me with contacts than glasses. Only close family and friends I tend to wear glasses around :)
I am nearsighted (I only need corrective lenses for far away) so I normally only wear them when driving.

I've worn them most of my life, and wear them all the time. The up side is my sight has always been optimised and has been better overall than many who do not wear glasses. I would be completely lost without them.
I need to be wearing glasses but I do not. I need reading glasses but since my phone allows me to use the camera and enlarge the screen and I just cheat... lol But I do need to get a pair for reading...
I wear glasses. Even though im supposed to wear them all the time I really only wear them for driving or watching TV. I hate wearing glasses but there's no way I could wear contact lenses.
I should wear glasses, but my eye defect is not that big, so I don't wear them, because I think I look worse with glasses. Most of the time I don't have any problems.

Actually not wearing corrective lenses when you need them is worse for your eyes, because you're straining them.
I thought so too. I hear conflicting things tho.
It's not an issue if you don't need reading glasses and you're reading. Like I can read fine, but distance is harder
I am legally blind for driving a car without them.
Having Eyeglasses forces me to keep ties with the city and modern world.
Without glasses, I would be lost
Yes your eyes do get worse wearing them. Look up eye exercises. My mom did it and it helped her.
But some people that won't work for. Like me it would never work. I am one of them, that has eyes that always changes its shape.
If your eyes are like mine. Its only going to get worse and worse over time.
But I hear there is now a eye surgery that can reverse that now. That's something to look into as well.

They take away the headache pain from eye strain and make the world high definition. I wear them every practical chance.
I wish he would too

I've been wearing glasses sense I was 5. I need them as I have an astigmatism.

He should wear all the time, get eyestrain otherwise, especially driving,,,
If he can't read signs while driving, how is he going to see that kid that runs out in the road?,,,

All three time unless I’m going out at night or taking pics
I need to wear them all the time. Sometimes glasses, sometimes lenses.
But never lenses in cars and trains with airco and not in planes.
I wear mine all the time. Otherwise I would smash into walls, and I get massize head aches.
Well one day he will realize he goes blinder and glasses he see normal
