You could try drinking cranberry juice. I know it might sound like an old wives tale, but I had a slight infection which was only at the beginning stage, and the nurse I saw told me cranberry juice works wonders with your fluid system because it helps to flush out all the nasty things. Drink it daily, have it with your breakfast. It helped me. If it doesn't seem to make a difference with in two weeks, or a week. Then you need to go back to your doctor and get them to have a look. You could simply just have a bad infection, that just needs clearing up, but it could be something else. But try the cranberry juice, it worked for me.

No, not currently, although as a young child it happened quite frequently. The advice I was given that helped stop them:
- Limit your liquid sugar intake such as cokes, soda, pop and fruit juices. That was the biggest factor for me. The sugar can affect the bacteria balance down below causing s UTI
- Be sure to drink at least 8 glasses if water a day and keep hydrate throughout the day
- Limit your sugar intake overall
- Perhaps take a cranberry pill or drink real cranberry juice once a day
- Pee after sex
- Never hold in your pee. I also did that, now I don't

I used to get them all the time after I would have sex. I think a lot of things can cause them but my doctor told me mine were caused because when I would have sex, the penis pushes bacteria into the vagina so you're supposed to pee after sex to "clean" it out. So I started doing that and havnt gotten a UTI since then. I don't know if you're sexually active but if you are that could be the reason. Ask your doctor about other causes and figure out why you're getting them so often.
Always remember to wipe front to back.
Also, if you can afford it, get the cranberry chews from the store. Its a supplement and its similar to consuming a glass of cranberry juice. Or, you can drink I bit of cranberry juice per day to minimize your risk of a UTI.Never had this problem, but I know from experience that stress can make crazy things happen with your body. I'm not saying that caused it, but stressing will only make it worse.
No, is this usually caused by sexual contact, like an STD? Or is it bad hygiene that causes UTIs?
I've had one 4 over a year now and no antiboiotics home remedies have helped its gotten annoying
