Well, you might have a lot on your mind. But here on some things that can help you fall asleep before bedtime. You didn't say what time you go to bed--is it early or really late? My feeling is if you're young--you are going to bed late after wathcing tv or whatever. So here goes:
Number 1- make your bedroom a comfortable oasis for sleeping ONLY. No electronics should be there--no tv, radio, computer, etc. You might want to get one of those waterfall rocks thingies that you plug into a socket and hear that gurglng sound. And that's all. Make your bedroom as dark and as cool as confortable, and not warm.
2- No caffeine about 6 hrs before bedtime--including cola, tea, and chocolate.
3- No eating before bedtime excpet to have some caffeine free tea or warm milk.
4- No TV about 2 hrs before bedtime. Instead, read, knit, paint, draw, meditate, anything but watching tv and stimulating your mind.
5- Take a relaxing bath if you like.
6- Get rid of any clutter during the day, in your bedroom if it is clutterd. Clutter adds stress to your life, believe it or not.
7- After drinking that warm tea or milk, read a book until you are tired.
8- I said no electronics--but I meant no lighting in the room where you are sleeping. You can take a laptop and turn on youtube and look for "epic thunderstorm" on a bit low, not too loud, and this may lull you to sleep. It does help me. If you like look for rain videos where yo. will lsiten to the sound of rina for hours. You will also turn off the lightning on the laptop or computer.
9- Relax, and try to think of nothing.
Hope it helps.

Perhaps you're not tired enough to sleep. I've noticed that during lockdown I couldn't sleep either because I wasn't that tired there's was literally nothing to do. Keep yourself busy during the day and when is time to sleep take your melatonin and watch a show or read a book. Breathing exercises also help you relax.
Ha 😂 You been trying to figure it out when the answer has been right in front of you the whole time. Your Being exposed to too much technology and UV Light.
An hour of laying in pure darkness ain’t gonna do Anything for you. Your mind has to be Away from technology for multiple hours Until you can get Tired.
😂 😆 😝 😂 good Luck with that one.
Whether or not you believe me Is Dependent on How much you Love your Technology. So if you don’t believe me
HAHAHAHAHA because I been through the same thing. And the only thing that helped me was to limit my exposure to Technology. And I’m not talking about watch hang out with tech devices for 6 hours and be off for 3 hours. I’m talking about being off technology all day and eventually you’ll be able to sleep. 😆
Good Luck
by the way You are beautiful your beauty just tells me You love your social media. Which just makes it even more hilarious 😂 it’s going be really hard for you to stay off your phone and other tech devices all day.
Also Focus has to deal with it as well.
If your mind is too FOCUSED it makes it impossible to sleep.
There are several questions to ask of your healthcare professional that focus upon the cause of insomnia (especially with respect to the body's sleep/wake processes) rather than merely treating the symptoms. It's important to note whether there's difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or both. Are there organic causes such as sleep apnea or psychological components such as depression or anxiety at play? Do you take naps? Do you consume caffeine/other stimulants, and how late do you consume them? What therapeutic lifestyle changes have you made involving factors such as nutrition, hydration, physical activity, sleep hygiene, stress and stress reduction, relaxation techniques, and others. Well a good snuggle never did me wrong, my girlfriend has this problem. But ever weekend we snuggle and she sleeps like a baby in my arms. I think she loves coming just for the snuggle, and honestly I love it a lot myself. I don't sleep as well with snuggle, but she does and that makes it worth it to me. Plus when morning comes everything is made right to me. ;-)
Depends on why you can't. Do you have a regular sleep pattern? Or at least use to? Does you mind have racing thoughts? Stressed? Maybe it's a mild sleeping disorder. Could be your bed isn't right for you. Could be your eating habits. a lot of possibilities.
Don't think about the fact that you can't sleep. The mind doesn't process the conceot no so if you thin about it it'll keep you awake. Focus on other things than sleep and you will doze right off. Oh and keep cell phones and other digital devices away form your bed or body. They won't let you sleep at all.
I found this helps me is I changed my sleeping pattern. We all breathe in a four count. Change it up to five count breathe. You have to count this out in your mind. Inhale count of five, hold count of five, Excel count to five, hold it count to five then repeat.
If that doesn't help try praying.
Also take a look at what you're stressing or worrying about. It's 4.40am here and I haven't slept yet. I have to go to work at 7am this morning too. I guess I'll just grab a few hours sleep when I get home from work.
I just don't see any point in worrying about it. That makes it worse.Get a pen/pencil and paper and write down the thoughts that are racing in your mind. The act of actual writing is boring, it’s the point. Once thoughts are on paper you don’t have to think about them anymore, they’ll be there in the morning.
Try mental arithmetic? Surprisingly, if you practice while falling asleep, you will get better. Maybe start with 13x13, then 14x14 etc. If that's too easy, try 13x13x13 etc.
Sex before bedtime is a good sedative.
But in your case, get a workout, sauna or long walk, before bed. Cut sugar, caffeine and taurine drinks about 3 hours before bed as well. The Jedi Mind Trick. I think of something to do, get ready to do it and then realize it'll take at least 40 minutes to get that done so suddenly I get motivated to sleep and Boom. I'm out.
I don't want to be crass, but, if possible, drink a little alcohol and masturbate.
It is "Maysturbate" - National Masturbation Month.I take a CBD gummy bear about 1/2 hour before hand, otherwise once in I will takr a while a tylenol pm and that will do it.
Sometimes it just happens. Watch as soon as you get up to go to work or do something. That's when you fall a sleep
I get up early and workout so by the time it is 10 o'clock at night I am pretty tired and usually fall asleep.
Damn Tay that was meto lastnight I wish I would have seen ur post then I would have said hello
Lie in darkness with the windows open amid an ASMR video and a couple of fingers of single malt, usually works for me
I drink sleepy time tea, play soothing sounds/music, and I smoke weed or take an edible.
Are you suffering from anxiety and depression? You might need to go see a doctor
Have as many orgasms that you can possibly have in 30 minutes. You'4re so attractive I'd like o take some of that burden on myselfnothing at all, infact i dont even try- i just continue keeping my eyes closed so that at least they'd be rested lol
I do house chores to expend my excess waking energy. Something always needs to be cleaned up or sorted or done. Clean the toilet, sink, faucet, shower or wash the floor. Eventually tiredness will come by itself.
