I have fostered many and currently doing 3 new. So actually it's very common among kittens. It can be conjunctivitis or just regular fungal eye infections. If the mother is with them, she will clean the kittens all by herself and there's no need to fear. If the problem persists clean the stray mother cat as she's getting infections from the mother and also clean the kitten's eye.
Also, Roll down your cat's eyelid with your fingers. Make sure the lining is pink and healthy-looking. It should not be swollen. Red or white color is a sign of a problem.
Make sure the eyeballs themselves look healthy. Look for any murkiness or cloudiness in the eyeball, which could be a sign of infection. Make sure your cat’s pupils are equal sizes and the area right around the eyeball itself is white.
Sometimes it's just regular discharge from the eyes and the mother isn't cleaning much.
After checking if you see that there are major problems inside of their eyes not only just the upper side, then take them to the vet as they will need proper antibiotics or steroids to treat that.

Bro do it. Do it get it clean. Use a warm damp rag or warm damp qtip. Put some Terramycin in its eye too. Do that every day, twice a day, until it's better. If you don't it can spread to the other kittens. If you don't it can get worse. Just don't wipe your own eyes after cleaning it, just clean it and then put the rag to be washed and wash your hands and you'll be fine. It's not airborne or anything.
It could also be a herpes infection which is contagious to other kitties. Feline herpes is not the same as human herpes. Please seek vet care if not already done so.
Well I’d be going straight to the vet just in case it’s something serious. Especially given they are stray. Gotta make sure they are all healthy

Definitely take the kitten to the vet. They can prescribe some antibiotic eye drops or antibiotic ointment that can help.
It's common in kittens.
You can get some ointment from your vet.
It spreads easily so if you have other cats it's best to treat it.
It goes away quickly when treated. All the kittens need to go to a vet. The longer you wait, the costlier it will be.
Looks like an infection coming on, important to get it to a vet so the eye isn't lost.
'Too risky"? Either take care of the cat or find someone who will.
Poor little thing 😮😮😨
Maybe a simple infection?🤔Take your kitten to a vet if this doesn't clear up on its own.
