Well, money can never buy happiness. While money can buy you things that can last only a certain amount of time, but money can’t buy you memories, friends, family or anything else! For me my church and the amazing atmosphere I am surrounded in is what makes the most happy! No matter how bad of a day or week I’m having I can walk in with a depressed mindset and not even 5 seconds later. I am the most happy person in the world! My church is my safe place. I know the people there are going to pray for me and pray with me. They are going to be nice to me and give me hugs especially when I need it. My friends there are amazing and kind to me! They try to cheer me up when I look sad even if I’m not and just look sad. 🙂 one of those friends is my crush who has been beyond nice to me and also never seems to get annoyed with me. Lol. It’s funny cus the other guys will at least show on their faces that they are annoyed with me and he never does that. So yah that is my most happy place. I serve with some of my friends and those friends I am closest to and I also am a regular student at some times with my small group friends. I love that church. It makes me feel safe and happy!

Self sustaining people like farmers can definitely be happy. So it's about needs met... not money exactly... Maslow's hierarchy or need say first we have basic need for food, sex, such... safety need.. then there are social needs. (kind of skipping here) then at the top (last need, least important) there is status and such...

Money doesn't necessarily achieve these things... depend to the culture...

Ignorance and lack of want... lack of tv, makes one happy... simple livers... there is always something more that we want... and this is how simple people in tribes are happy...

I am Happy with good relationships and having basic needs met... exploring... yeah of it was possible I'd own my own horse and ride around town as transport lmao

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it can remove worries of not having enough money to pay for your necessities. So it can give a peace of mind.

Sadly not many people know what to do with that peace of mind once they get it. That is why many lottery winners end up losing it all. They can finally get what they want, not needing to think if they really need it. Overindulging on luxury, losing who they are in the process.

Peace of mind is what makes me happy. It can be finishing a project, witnessing a beautiful vista, exhausting myself with a lover, sense of accomplishment, satisfaction.

Security. I'm not trying to buy happiness. The more paper I stack, the more secure my position is. My parents had six kids one with a chronic health condition that required a lot of medical attention. My father had a mere cops salary. I highly respect my father. And he was super dad. We never did without. But it wasn't easy on my father and probably contributed to his early death. Part of that is what drives me. I owe it to him, my family and myself to carry our family name proudly. Money is just a tool I know that. But it's a necessary evil in this world

Coming to the happiness factor, being myself makes me very happy. Watching movies on TV, reading astronomical books gives me happiness.

Money is important in life but after earning a certain limit of money it's immeterial , it's like a car has capacity of 30 litres of petrol if it gets 30 litres car will run smoothly , what money can't buy is feelings , trust , joy of doing what you like without someone intervention , going out for cycling in an open road etc

First off, anyone that says, "money can't buy happiness" obviously is a simple creature- which good for them!
But for the majority of us, money DOES make us happy because there are so many things we can do with money: from paying off bills, traveling, to treating ourselves.

But outside of money, I suppose being fit and healthy makes me happy. I feel so accomplished and content after a good workout!

In a way, money can buy happiness, it just depends on how you use it.
Stable & comfortable home, entertainment, helping family, bills paid, projects funded, utilities covered, a vehicle & being able to upkeep, being able to afford dates, have nice clothes, a nice kitchen, help those in need, being able to sleep comfortably,... etc. money covers a lot in society to maintain happiness.
