@DryGermanGuy The swine flu vaccine was recalled after 7 deaths. Listen, you can continue to take these shots till your heart siezes. I really don't care. But you have to quit the bs.
@DryGermanGuy oh here we go. At no point did I imply any of those things. One can also be supportive of vaccines in general and still realize these covid shots are bullshit. Unless, of course, you're a cult member who follows what anyone in authority tells you to believe.
Well, it’s obvious you never really bothered to inform yourself about the vaccines (plural!). If you do not trust the mRNA type vaccines there are half a dozen other, traditional types available. So your sweeping approach of calling it all „the bs“ makes you seem rather uninterested in science.
@DryGermanGuy lmao. So you believed them when they said if you got the covid vaccines were 90% effective at preventing transmission, but now we know at best they're about 14% effective at preventing infection (the point of a vaccine, by the way), and there's not a cell in your brain that goes "hm, they mislead me on that, maybe these aren't trustworthy people".
If you had used your brain instead of following the childish urge to spout insults you would have quickly realized that these two statements ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. Again, you might want to educate yourself before mouthing off: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccination
@DryGermanGuy You contradicted your previous statement. And since you're a moron, I'll refresh your memory. Prior to 2021, the definition of vaccine was an injected substance that prevented you from getting the disease.
Now you idiots are trying to gaslight everyone on these shots.
Again, these shots were sold in 2021 as 90% effective at preventing the spread. Now that seems an odd statement to make when according to you, now, that the only point of a vaccine is to prevent severity of disease.
I contradicted nothing, they texts and definitions are there and have been the same for decades and decades. Quote: „Vaccination is the administration of a vaccine to help the immune system develop immunity from a disease. Vaccines contain a microorganism or virus in a weakened, live or killed state, or proteins or toxins from the organism. In stimulating the body's adaptive immunity, they help prevent sickness from an infectious disease. When a sufficiently large percentage of a population has been vaccinated, herd immunity results.“ So, obviously smallpox (et al.) got eradicated from herd immunity. That doesn’t mean that until that point no one vaccinated contracted it.
Your childish insults only highlight your inability or unwillingness to actually process scientific facts. I pity such people and I am glad they are a minority in my line of work.
@DryGermanGuy A large percentage has gotten the covid shots. Yet, no herd immunity. Thanks for proving my point. What we have now is variants that escape the spike protein because the shots were so leaky from the get-go. Congratulations.
Congratulations to yourself for your continued insistence of using half-knowledge to compare apples with oranges. The current percentage of twice-vaccinated population in the USA is 67,7% with New England states at 80+% and the poor Southern states at ~55%. The vaccination campaigns against smallpox achieved 90+% (!!!) while having a less mobile population. So, obviously herd immunity occurred, in fact till today.
Twice vaccinated % Israel: 66,7% Twice vaccinated % Singapore: 90+% Quote: „As of 27 July 2022, Singapore has a total of 1,685,889 confirmed cases, with 1,654,260 recoveries and 1,490 deaths. The country currently has a case fatality rate of 0.09%, one of the lowest in the world. It introduced what was considered one of the world's largest and best-organised epidemic control programmes.“
So, I would say, the vaccination campaign worked out for Singapore, wouldn’t you?
@DryGermanGuy No, because you went back and stated that vaccination produced herd immunity. They're averaging 8000 cases a day, about half their all time high. That's not immunity.
So keep your story straight. If vaccines prevent infection, then these shots suck and we were lied to in spring/summer 2021.
If these shots keep you out of the hospital when you get covid, then they're not vaccines... they're treatments.
I never „went back“ on anything and I have no „story“ to be kept straight. I am quoting textbook knowledge and current numbers while you let your emotions and paranoia run wild and refuse medical basics. AGAIN, vaccines are to prevent people from getting severely sick, hospitalized or dying. Highly effective vaccines also show a strong effect on infection numbers, meaning slowing the spread. And in a BEST CASE SCENARIO, the combination of effective vaccines PLUS a high vaccination rate leads to herd immunity. Case in point, the smallpox eradication. Counter example: China‘s struggle with Covid outbreaks because their domestic vaccines are weak. And - wrong again - vaccines are not treatment, obviously. Try to suggest to a doctor to vaccinate Covid patients in the ICU, see what he has to say. Steroids, antivirals and monoclonal antibodies are treatments.
@DryGermanGuy So now you're finally back to admitting that these are shitty shots, and not effective vaccines. The exact opposite of what you were promised in 2021. So how does it feel - to someone who claims to follow science - to know that you were lied to by the scientists you're expecting people to trust?
What is it with your weird projecting where you take *your* missing knowledge about vaccines to claim *I* was lied to? The German company BioNTech developed a new vaccine based on their extensive mRNA research. All studies confirmed it to be a highly effective vaccine. I got it, so did all my family and colleagues, etc. For the people wary of the mRNA vectors, there are other, traditional vaccines available. Every statistic shows, these (Western) vaccines are keeping people out of the hospitals, especially the ICUs. An American nurse just posted here days ago that 95% of her patients are UNVACCINATED. So what the hell more do you want? Why are you even discussing with me, try it with your doctor and see what s/he has to say to your theories?
I find your continued insistence to speak on my behalf weird and disrespectful and I am asking you to stop it right now. It's not my job to echo your misinformation-driven paranoia. I have quoted you the available facts, speak to a medical professional about your options, if you really feel "lied to". I have made my choice months ago and I am happy with it.
You are really testing my patience. For the last time, vaccine efficiency does not mean what *you* think it means. Reduction of infectivity is not the dominating metric! Quote: "Vaccine efficacy or vaccine effectiveness is the percentage reduction of disease cases in a vaccinated group of people compared to an unvaccinated group." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccine_efficacy
And yes, I read several times that BioNTech's vaccine had an efficacy of 90+%, which it has demonstrated in several studies. Why do you think everybody wanted it?
Quote: „Effectiveness A test-negative case-control study published in August 2021, found that two doses of the BNT162b2 (Pfizer) vaccine had 93.7% effectiveness against symptomatic disease caused by the alpha (B.1.1.7) variant and 88.0% effectiveness against symptomatic disease caused by the delta (B.1.617.2) variant.“
Now, it’s your prerogative of feeling being „lied to“ (🙄) but stop the idea that others have to go on the same trip.

After i got my second shot I started feeling super cold before i fell asleep and when I woke up at like 3 or 4 in the morning I was burning up
I never had any reactions to the covid shots.
I have had 4 shots and no side effects from any of them. 😉
There are reports of thousands of injuries and deaths in VAERS.
Anybody and his sister can enter reports into VAERS. There is no fact-checking and no follow-up.
@DryGermanGuy ok, remove 95% of them. That still makes these bullshit shots the deadliest in history.
No, it does not. With BILLIONS of shots administered, you can do the math yourself.
@DryGermanGuy The swine flu vaccine was recalled after 7 deaths. Listen, you can continue to take these shots till your heart siezes. I really don't care. But you have to quit the bs.
Have you asked the families of the one million (95% unvaccinated) Covid dead in the U. S. alone what they think of „the bs“?
@DryGermanGuy Have you asked the families of the thousands who have died from the covid shots what they think?
There are not „thousands who have died from Covid shots“. Stop taking Facebook babble for factual news.
By the way, here is the swine flu vaccine story, if you care to educate yourself:

@DryGermanGuy Ah, you're a scienceâ„¢ follower
Errrr… yes, I am. The Earth is not 4000 years old, creationism is nonsense and archeologists do not bury fake dinosaur bones in the ground.

The point of a vaccine is to strengthen the immune system to prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death. It never has been anything else.
@DryGermanGuy lmao. holy shit are you an idiot. Then how can the UN tout it eliminated smallpox thanks to the vaccine?
If you had used your brain instead of following the childish urge to spout insults you would have quickly realized that these two statements ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.

4 vaccinations to date, and a slightly sore arm for 12 hours after each one, and NO Covid.
We live in a time where fake news spreads faster than facts
Every person reacts different to any medication..
still have shortness of breath, having my gallbladder removed Monday not sure if that is stated or not related or not.
i know hundreds of people that got vaxxed, sore arm was the about the only thing they got
None that I've noticed
I sprouted horns and a second dick.
I only got a headache. Wasn’t bad.
No. Nor did anyone I personally know.
No. Zero. Nothing.
no side effects
Didn't take any of them.
No less shitty than usual.
''no more''.
Nope
No not really
nope
