Try to pack your lunches in advance. I'm sure you have some time on some nights to sort out some almonds, carrots, cheerios and such. Buy FiberOne bars, and some healthy snack stuff and make little snack packs that all you have to do is grab the bag that has some munchies in it. If you can eat healthy, the lack of exercise isn't too bad.
You can do leg lifts, squats, and pushups in your room. Look up "sun salutation" which is a yoga workout, that you can do say 20 times and it can get your heart rate up a little bit.
When you do go out to eat, order salads without the dressing, or you can just use the red wine vinegar.
Order fish if you can, but grilled chicken and turkey isn't going to hurt you, and neither will steak. Substitute fries or potatoes for steamed veggies.

A lot of people are trying the new p90x workout and that seems to be effective. I use a blow up core ball. There's so many exercises I can do with it and its worked so far. It came with a video as well as a ton of different flashcards with different exercises on it. I would shop around for something like that. Crunches and push ups help, but if that's all you can do then I highly suggest getting a workout set to go a long with it. Even one of those dvds that have different routines would help. Just shop around and see what looks interesting to you.
Yeah, I put on a BUNCH of weight in college. I lost it all my senior year mostly by eating smaller portions and getting out and running a few times a week. While you're in your room you can get a decent cardio workout doing burpees, mountian climbers, jumping jacks, etc. I'd throw in some variations on crunches and planks as well to tighten your core. Then there's the usual array of calisthenics to tone up your muscles which will raise your metabolism and give your body a nice shape. You might also invest in a kettle bell or medicine ball. They aren't particularly expensive.
Exrx.net has a lot of info on different exercises, weight management tips, and general information about the body that you might find useful.
Good luck.

if you have a mini fridge you can eat a lot of salads just buy a ton of vegetables a cutting board and a knife. Salads are cheap and fast to make and you can control the amount of calories you put in there unlike the ready made ones. Jogging in the mornings would do you good too
lunges, squats, crunches, deadlifts, step ups-lots of things. find something that suits you here link
If you don't have time to exercise, you simply must eat less, and eat healthy.
There's no other way.
If you eat 500 calories less, that's the same calorie deficit as one hour doing simple exercises in the gym.in my dorm there's a small fitness center so whenever I get free time in between studying or early mornings, I go down there and work out a bit.
You cut out alcohol and soda?
