After so many years of shaving her hair in the elemenentary school, her hair turned brown and then later dark brown.
So is it normal?
Does it mean one of the parent have ginger DNA without knowing about it?
Every variation is possible for Africans who have the most diverse genetic markers, but the reasoning is also caused by a genetic mutation or deficiency in the production of melanin.
Did you know In truth all of us have "blue eyes", blue eyes just means you lack melanin in the eyes. Blue eyes is the canvas, but what happens during the development of then embryo in the womb of most African's and people on this planet, is that melanin begins to spread into the eyes.
This spreading and development of melanin is manifested clearest when you look at new born African children who almost appear mixed raced/Caucasian, apart from some part of their body which will be very dark like the earlobes for example 👂... Then as the weeks and months pass, the melanin begins to develop more and more until they look like any other sub Saharan African.
So to answer your question, yes, every variation is possible, because cell mutation is possible and the irregular development of melanin is possible.

I learn new things everyday. Thank you! 🥰
So it has to do with the so called the MC1R gene?
One of the greatest sins in western education, is the lack of understanding in why people are different skin colours. It's actually shocking when I ask my Caucasian friends, "why am I this colour" and the best they can do is 🤷.
It's truly a son what western education has done to it's people.
In regards to your MC1R comment, I'm sure that's a major player.
