As a women who try to grow the flutes, I only train the lower body twice a week. Should I do 2 leg days where I hit quads and hamstrings in addition to glutes, or should I do one day hamstrings+ glutes focused day and one quads+glutes focused day?
When it comes to training the lower body, there are different approaches you can take depending on your fitness goals and preferences. Here are a few options:
1. Two leg days: You can split your lower body training into two separate leg days, with one focused on quads and hamstrings and the other focused on glutes. This can allow you to target each muscle group more intensely and ensure that you're giving each muscle group enough attention.
2. Glutes-focused day and quads/hamstrings-focused day: Another option is to have one leg day focused primarily on glutes, with exercises such as squats, lunges, and hip thrusts, and another leg day focused on quads and hamstrings, with exercises such as leg presses, leg curls, and deadlifts. This can help you prioritize your glute training while still ensuring that you're working all of the muscles in the lower body.
3. Full body workouts: Alternatively, you can incorporate lower body exercises into full body workouts, with a focus on compound movements that work multiple muscle groups at once. This can help you achieve overall strength and balance in the lower body while also working other muscle groups.
Ultimately, the best approach will depend on your individual fitness goals, preferences, and schedule. It's important to work with a qualified fitness professional or do your research to ensure that you're using proper form and technique and that your workout routine is effective and safe.
