The medications I’m on have caused me to become obese. I blew up like a whale on olanzapine and fluoxetine and haven’t been able to lose the weight. The doctor said diet pills, lots of exercise and Lite n easy meals will make me lose all this extra weight. I’m meant to weigh 72-75 kilos. I weigh 114 kilos. I don’t look nearly as big as I am. But the scales don’t lie and I want to drop 2-3 sizes in clothes. Which would make me a size 12 or 14. Probably I couldn’t be smaller than a large. The question is, now that I know it can definitely be achieved, what should I do with all my clothes once I’ve lost the weight? Should I get them tailored to fit my new size, or give them all to my best friend, who doesn’t mind being a size eighteen?
There are several options that you can consider for dealing with your clothing once you have lost the weight:
1. You could get them tailored to fit your new size, which would be a great option if you feel attached to the clothes or want to keep them for sentimental reasons.
2. One option would be to donate the clothing to a charity or thrift store, so that someone else can enjoy them or get a second life.
3. Another option is to give the clothes to your best friend, who would likely appreciate them.

Go to a dietitian, do not listen to your doctor. Diet pills do not work. You need changes on your meal planning and exercise plan that go hand and hand on what is happening to your body from that medication. As for the clothes, keep the clothes as a motivator to get down to the weight that you want to get to.
Sell them to fat people. If they're big enough, do some creative sewing and convert them into tents.

donate them to a second hand store or give them to your friend
I would donate them. Make it expensive to go back to your original weight.
Put them in a clothing drop box.
Give them away to a charity.
