Anyway, it is somewhat hot in my room and I was feeling somewhat tired and cranky but I still had some work to do so I thought maybe a nicotine pouch would help things.
I got up and drank a bottle of soda by my desk because I was feeling kind of thirsty as well.
But within a few minutes or so of being on my laptop I felt myself getting lightheaded and my face was starting to feel all warm and I felt like I was on the verge of fainting and was about to completely black out.
So I spit the pouch out and rested on my bed for about 10 minutes.
Everything ended up being completely fine but my reaction to it caught me completely off guard.
I had a nicotine pouch once before but I suppose maybe it might not have been as strong a dose the time before or maybe I just wasn’t as prepared for it this time or maybe sugar and nicotine isn’t the right idea or maybe since I already kinda felt hot in my room I might not have been properly hydrated.
Either way I’m not really sure what happened but everything ended up being fine in the end but I truly am being 100% serious when I say I caught myself on the verge of fainting and I nearly passed out from what felt like my face overheating.
If I had to guess though I would think it was just the mixture of sugar with nicotine was inducing an energy crash.

Nicotine is one hell of a substance for non-smokers. I basically use it like you every couple of months, to get an alertness kick when I get tired and have to work a few more hours, although I simply smoke a cigarette.
Yeah man and that’s the thing too. I know all sorts of grown adults that smoke through over a pack a day but the most I could ever bring myself to do was just two cigarettes spaced several hours apart.
I only really tend to have a cigarette once in a rare while though when I’m lacking in energy.
And even then after one cigarette I can feel my heart lightly beating and doing this soft fuzzy chest feeling.
The nicotine pouch is something I just tried today for the second time ever.
I think the soda must’ve given me an energy crash or something though. But basically as soon as I took the pouch out and gave myself a ten minute rest I was able to recover. Its kinda nice how the high is slow building enough that you can stop it once you realize its starting to get out of hand
Sugar shock/crash is definitely a possibility, especially if you were running on an empty stomach for hours. A couple of years ago I nearly fainted after downing a 0.5 l Coke bottle as first food intake of the whole day. Add the strong nicotine effect from the pouch on top and you have your symptoms explained.
Well I skipped breakfast but I did eat a pizza like maybe 3 hours earlier.
No idea. I use that exact strength and brand myself, except mint flavored. Never had a problem.
