I want to lose weight but got no motivation

I felt the same way for a long time. Sometimes it helps to work out with another friend, that way you can both motivate each other. I work out alone though, my motivation is sometimes to the upbeat, pumping music. It gets my blood flowing. My other motivation comes from the fact that I want to stay healthy and fit. There may be a day I don't want to work out, may feel under the weather but then I kinda coach myself into it being like, 'you'll feel good when you're done, and you'll feel a sense of accomplishment.!' But in general music helps me the most, it gets me moving. Songs to consider:

im in the exact same situation...i need to lose weight and eat better but I don't have anyone or anything motivating me to do it...i mean I don't even know where to start...ive cut out sodas and been drinking juice and sugar free juices that you put in water...i chew sugarfree gum and I've cut out a lot of junk food...but what else can I do? I'm just not motivated to exercise or anything...and I'm too insecure to even join a gym so I feel your pain
You're in the 18 to 24 age range. How bad do you think you will feel in 4 decades when you look at other young people wasting their youth as you might?
Being healthy or fit is NOT a yes or no, all or nothing, binary sort of decision. IT IS A CONTINUUM. A MATTER OF DEGREES OF IMPROVEMENT.
Pain is just weakness leaving the body.
Start challenging yourself.

If you want real motivation, go get rejected by girls. Go ask for opinions from women and see if you are worthy in their eyes. Once you hear the blunt truth, that should get you fired up. If that doesn't do the trick, you probably lack spine and I don't know what to tell you.

portion control. if you have a pet take them on daily walks. if you feel like snacking, go brush your teeth. get out of the house.

stay away from processed foods and do lots of cardio and also weight training. drink lots of water. soon you'll get addicted to the healthy lifestyle.
