What works for me:
1. Before going inside, take care of everything outside possible.
2. Stiff arm any thoughts of embracing relaxation - use it as a reward for doing all your choses first.
3. As you enter, everything has a place, nothing gets dumped. Process mail immediately, trash, reading, bills - in their place.
4. You may ice down or heat up refreshments while you continue to work through the house to change clothes into workout attire.
5. Workout & yard work, then interior cleaning, pet care.
6. Every day means on less pile from past bad habits.
7. Refreshments enjoyed while dinner begins on LOW
8. Bath time, clean up a section of litter area from the past - slowly you will regain space & mental health from it
9. Dinner & TV/movie
10. Stroll
11. Bedtime
There will be nights when you will go out instead - insure these include some sort of exercise, e.g. dancing to keep those endorphins coming & high spirits up.

The most important are:
Eating: always have breakfast, preferably a complex carb such as oatmeal that will give you energy throughout the day. Then, you'll be less tempted to snack on junk food or choke down pop during the day.
Skin care: Um... bathe? Girls would know way more about this than I do. Use body lotion.
Sleeping: for most people, the body gets its most restful sleep between 11pm and 7am, so try to sleep during those times. get into a routine before bed that tires you out a bit, like showering at night or reading, whatever. Don't eat for 2-3 hours before going to bed.
Enforce them and stay focused by starting small. These are good places to start, and if you do them together, they complement each other. Like, having a breakfast will give you energy during the day, then you'll begin to crash after work, then you'll have dinner and have energy again, so spend 2-3 hours on down time and you'll be ready to sleep by 11am.
Eating healthy is hard because most people only think about eating when they're hungry. It requires planning and preparation.
When you go grocery shopping, keep your shopping to the *perimeter* of the store, and don't get frozen / processed stuff that usually lies in the isles in the middle. On the perimeter, you'll find the lean, fresh meats, dairy, produce, and bread / grain.
Eating healthy is made easier when you realize you don't have to have fattening dishes to have flavor. Experiment with sauces and spices to enhance your healthy dishes. One of my favorite sauces for just about anything (meat or veggies) is a mixture of soy sauce, honey, spicy Sriracha sauce, and sesame seed oil. Mix them in whatever proportions taste best to you.
