Does weight really matter to guys?

according to that page it says that it does so I was just wondering. I had an eating disorder & went into recovery now I'm really fat... 154 5'2 so I need to know because there's this new guy I'm talking to & I'm wondering if I should lose weight so he'll like me.

All different men like all different types of bodies. I've had guys interested in me when I was heavier (for me it was heavy) 5'1 145, and I've had guys interested in me at 5'1 130 and lean. Men like all different types. So, focus on being healthy, rather than skinny. If you want to lose weight, it's fine to do so, but do it in a healthy manner that keeps you happy. If you're still unsure of how to have a healthy relationship with weight loss, then I would seek a dietitian's help, and they can assist you :)

To be perfectly blunt, yes. You can't love someone unless you can love yourself first, and clogging your arteries and asking for a heart attack does not seem like good healthy love to me. Sorry to be so blunt but unless its like an incurable disease that makes you either really heavy or really skinny like lizzie velasquez; obesity is the same to me as cigarettes.

depending on how your weight is proportioned that 5'2 154 could be sexy as hell at least to me. I really don't give a dam, I like a chick with meat on her as long as its proportioned nicely. we are all different ya know

We care about her weight but not nearly as much as girls think. We care if she has a healthy weight or not. Most guys don't like very skinny, nor fat.

But most of us can't tell the difference if you're weighing 154 or 160.

I can't imagine a way that 154 can look nice/healthy on a 5'2" frame.

Not to mention all the ways it hurts your health over the long run. Try to get to doing a workout program or get psychological help if you need it.

Think about how long you would have to over-consume food to get to 154lbs. This is why most people aren't attracted to fat people, it shows there are underlying issues.

someone could look healthy at 5'2 154 because they could have a lot of muscle. I'm not sayin that I do but there are people out there
