Do you go by anything or do you just do the basics?
I wanna start working out more on my butt legs abs all that.
What works for you? :)
I go to the gym about 4 times a week. I do weights and cardio. I do about 30-40 minutes of cardio, I try to make it as intense as possible. I don't really watch the calorie meter like I used to I just make sure I am sweating a lot for as much as I can bear. I usually break it down to 20-20 on each machine. or sometimes I prolong it slightly and do 3 machines. the ones I rotate between are treadmill, elliptical, stairmaster, exercise bike and a slightly different cross trainer thing.
then I do weights. I do at least 3-4 machines a time, 3 sets on each side, 12 reps per set. I keep the weights fairly light but heavy enough to feel an impact. I do ones for different parts of the arms, hip abductor and adductors (work on the inner and outer thighs), butt blaster machine, one for anotherp art of the thighs, ones for the abs, etc.
i rotate all of these, I don't do all the same cardio or weights if I work out 2 days in a row. it is more exciting and also easier to deal with. doing the same workout 2 days in a row can be tiring.
sometimes I do a 5th day with either only weights or cardio or a shorter time overall on fewer machines. but 5 full intense days makes me hurt a bit so I usually do 4 full and one short with just some weights.
i also try not to do a full workout more than 2 days in a row because doing 3 full days without a break feels kind of tiring. I always feel like I have better workouts after a day off.
I go to a gym and I also work out at home. At the gym I pretty much only run, do all the basic weight lifting, and sometimes attend a step and pump class. At home I also run because it's better than running on a treadmill and I work out with an app on my iphone called nike women that has awesome workouts on it. Oh and also I hike about once every 2 weeks when I don't have too much studying to do for college.
nice!
When training for a race I will run 3 days a week about 5-6 miles each of those days and then on the weekend to a long run closer to 10 miles. When I'm not, like at the moment I do whatever is interesting. Lately it's been some runs at the beach, mountain biking, and some weight lifting. Not particular regime at the moment.

I wore leg weights as a child everyday and it gave me a great butt. I also ran a lot just for the heck of it and did a lot of martial arts. Cardio is key for your core and legs though :)
