How can I knock these bad food habits?

I really love fruit. I know it's good for me, but I eat too much fruit haha. On any given day I typically have at least one banana, one mango, one avocado, a cup of grapes, and a cup of berries. Some days, I cut up a pineapple and just have that as my breakfast and then my lunch and snack lol.

Looking at my diet... I literally almost only eat fruits and veggies, oatmeal and chicken >> I don't eat any fish (I can't eat pork or beef, so there's that). But I feel like I eat too much fruit :P

I have no self control with fruit haha. But I think it's because I was raised eating fruit; the fact that it all grew on trees in the neighborhood made it easy for my family to feed it to me all the time. But now I can't stop!

Thankfully I'm not addicted to cookies or heroin, but all this fruit is packed with sugar and I have a feeling my body needs variation :P

I've been telling myself I'd buy less fruit or control myself, but it doesn't work :P How can I get more protein in my diet, what can I eat that is yummy without wanting to load my plate with fruit?
