I was going to suggest chicken/fish/steak with a salad mix with a lemon and olive oil dressing for a plain/simple taste but you don't like salad at all? Even with a nicer dressing? What kind of veg leaves do you put into your salads? Do you put anything extra like egg or avocado?
Roast or grill some veg, pumpkin and capsicums (peppers), those are always nice, they look and taste pretty simple too.
Eat salmon? It's pretty tasteless... :D Have some yoghurt? Fruit? What types of fruit do you like?
What do you like about food? Texture? Taste? Quick? Slow? Looks?
Do you like to cook things that are quick and easy or take some time? Do you like a huge variety at once even if the taste is pretty whatever? Or do you prefer less things like "meat and 3 veg"?

cant go wrong with veges, soups and salads if your looking to lose pds. snack on things through out the day, like a banana or an apple, or carrots, celery something like that. don't be afraid to grill up some fish or pork on the odd day either.
