Personally, I don't mind as long as they are somewhat healthy and fun to be with. (I am on the heavier side myself and I feel that people aren't interested in me especially since most of my friends are way skinny and attractive.) People who give you disgusted looks for being what you are, are probably people who just don't understand (they probably have other issues themselves).

Hey don't feel too bad, I am 6'1" and I weigh over 340lbs. I dropped a ton of weight, and I don't have that much trouble picking up women when I try, but my problem is that some tend to "like" me when I am not trying, especially when I have to concentrate on a major project. The other thing is be yourself.

Opinion Owner+1 yLocation can have an effect too. In my home town when you are not a certain type i.e. redneck, your out. I work in Aviation and on Films (and going to school for IT), and most of the girls I meet, are the ones I work with, hince is usually why I get better results when I am not looking.

Just keep trying. As long as you're not unhealthy (check your body fat percentage). I think each guy is different, too. What works on one guy might not work on another. Depends on your bone structure, muscle mass, etc.

Oh no. :( It upsets me how common it is for guys to believe that being nice = being a doormat and having to suppress non-positive emotions, doing too much for the girl out of obligation, getting resentful and keeping it inside so that is comes out in passive-aggressive jabs at the girl, etc.

I personally am not usually into bigger framed guys. But it depends. How big are you? Like broader built as a little heavy, or just plain pretty overweight? There's a difference.
