Well I am currently pregnant 6 months in October. Me and the baby father were doing okay up until the 5 month things just went from bad to worse. I found out he was talking and cheating with another women gave him a chance after I found out and he still talked to her. I've cut communication completely for about 2 weeks now and besides one occasion he hasn't tried reaching out either. The last thing he he texted me was if baby was actually his and I didn't respond. I don't know what to do because I do want him to be responsible and be in our child's life but I don't see what's the point in trying to fix things if he doesn't try to either. Should I just wait till he comes around or call him and see what's going to happen and what I can expect from him?

This is a pretty rough situation. This is not a "mistake" or an incident of "cheating."

He committed adultery against you. He is an adulturer who got you pregnant and ran off and screwed the next girl because he couldn't hold his d***. There is no evidence to suggest that he will ever be able to hold it.

Text him that yes, the child is his and your willing to do genetic testing if he's willing to pay for it to prove it. That is for his peace of mind so he can know full well that he is bringing a bastard into the world.

Then leave him because of his adultery. If the baby is a boy, he will grow up watching dad cheat on mom again and again and think it is OK to play around and hearing mom always breaking down over it, dooming him to unharmonious relationships. If the baby is a girl, she will grow up with serious issues and will never bond properly with men.

If you plan on raising it yourself, just try to find a supportive father figure to bring in to the baby's life.

I should mention that if he comes back, deeply repetent and apologetic, he may be worth accepting back. But that is only if his heart is greatly changed, and not acting the way you described.
