I was wondering what's more effective? Like I was thinking for a month changing my diet and shed some lbs and then doing exercises along with the diet after a month...what do you guys suggest?
Both is likely best.
Real world results suggest weight lifting + diet is associated with the best weight loss for women. Cardio + diet was not much better then diet alone, but was associated with keeping the weight off more then diet alone. In theory, massive cardio + diet would give faster weight loss but in practice people seem to eat to make up for the cardio.

You can do both at the same time. That's what I would do
Unless you have chronic migraines (like myself) you should be able to do them both at the same time.
