I've never dated a guy who has ever told me what to wear. Short of my asking whether he thought something looked good on me or not. To my knowledge, none of my friends have either. My guy likes it when I look good while we're out together. I wouldn't think your guy was controlling if it was one question, politely asked, over an outfit that was clearly inappropriate for church. His behavior has been constant despite your efforts to make him happy. That gives me the impression he just likes telling you what to do.

That's starting to sound controlling to me. My boyfriend may say that he thinks I should try a different top or something if he's a little unhappy with my state of dress but that rarely happens as I also don't dress slutty.
But when he won't leave the house or makes you change that's just not really fair and is definitely controlling to some degree :/
Jealous and controlling. If you don't want to dress like a nun, you shouldn't have to. There's nothing wrong with dressing nice, and it's possible for a girl to dress nice without revealing too much. And he has jealousy issues if he's worried other guys will notice you. Me, I don't mind when other guys notice my wife. In fact, I'd be worried if no other guy did lol.
Why don't the two of you go through your closet during some down time and go over it all so you can be on the same page. For the pieces that he doesn't like, why not offer to split the cost to replace them with something you both like? Compromise so both of you can be happy without being resentful of the others' actions is what makes a happy relationship.
D size boobs can be hard to cover up all the time. You could tell him, if he's happy to help replace parts of your wardrobe, you'll be willing to send him links to stuff you'd like that will work and he can shop for you. :)
