My girlfriend keeps suggesting we go to the movies - not really my thing but hey what do you think?

We get on great together, she is hot 30yr old blond blue eyes, very down to Earth, been together for 5 months - great in bed, super fit and no drama, low maintenance, just as I like it - but she keeps wanting to go to the movies with me - even though last time she got the times wrong and we missed it and ended up at her place instead and just made out all evening - much better lol ; but hey I'm just not into this gushy stuff - and if I were to go I would want an action movie and she would want "chick crack " lol - so what are you opinions ?- Guys & gals do we do the movie stuff or not? will it get me brownie points - I don't want her to become too needy

Seriously is going to the movies with your girlfriend too much to ask? If I was her I would probably dump you because it seems like you like the physical aspect of the relationship more than her. Going to the movies is what boyfriend and girlfriends do. Maybe you can compromise and see a movie that she wants and then the next time see a movie that you want.
