No, not happy with my current weight. I don't really care about the number, but my body fat percentage is simply too high. The problem is, working out simply made me gain weight. I went from 225 to 245. Looked like I had gained fat, but at the same time, I was stronger than I've ever been. 5'10 245 but I can do pull ups, dips, diamond push ups, etc. I train boxing at a gym and every time I start training a new person in the basics, they are always shocked that I can do what I do while looking how I do. I don't say that as a source of pride, but a source of embarrassment. People tend not to take me serious until they see that I can actually do a bunch of this stuff better than they can, which gets frustrating.
This is a dietary issue I believe. As a result, I've switched to a Japanese based diet over the last 3-4 weeks. I'm completely done with bread products, milk, and cheese. I look to eat noodle type products sparingly. Most my carbs come from short grain white rice much like the diet indicates. Eating the correct things, in the correct proportions, I should see a significant reversal. If after 3-4 months of this diet, maintaining a light to moderate workout (nothing strenuous, but enough to maintain muscle), if I still don't see a noticeable drop in body fat percentage, I'll probably go see a doctor.
From my talks with various people who either have a degree in a related field or tons of experience in it, diet is pretty much the number one priority in weight control. Look at it like this, is it easier to do a high intensity row for 30 minutes (Most people can't even maintain this for 30 minutes) to burn a little under 500 calories, or is it easier to simply cut 500 calories out of your diet every day? The answer is easy, it's the later.
Think about it like this, if you have one glass of milk 3 meals a day (average glass size is 12 ounces), using one percent milk, that's roughly 450 calories added to you intake a day... just in milk. Before you've eaten anything, you took on about 30 minutes of strenuous rowing. Most people eat things in higher proportions than are needed, so the easiest way to manage weight is to manage portions.
In combination with switching to a Japanese diet, this is my main method of regaining a hold on my weight. I measure the weight of everything I put in my body with a food scale. I've become pretty meticulous about what I'm eating and how much. So that's what I'm doing to achieve the correct level of body fat percentage I want. Over the last few weeks I've lost about 10 pounds give or take 3 to weight changes throughout the day, but I'm not really concerned with that. Like I said, I'm more interested in seeing where I went up in 3-4 months of doing this consistently.

I could do better but with hard work and determination I will get there. My ideal weight is just to be under 200 pounds but I am not that tall and I'm a guy who is trying to both lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. Over the past few months I have noticed my belt size go down and my bench press increasing. It is a nice feeling because I am getting stronger but my clothes are also starting to fit loose. What I am doing to achieve it is eating 5-6 times per day while eliminating fast food as much as possible and working really hard at the gym.
Eating this way boosts your metabolism so your body continues to burn calories even when you are not exercising. It's funny because when I eat less food I don't see the same results. It sounds crazy but following this plan allowed me to lose 11 pounds in a week and still gain muscle at the same time. I learned this from Mike Chang and while he may get a bad rep about his six pack shortcuts program he is actually right about eating to lose weight. It just depends on what you eat, how much, and how often. I also make my own fat burner out of spices and sprinkle it in some of my meals which I think is helping a lot.
I'm very happy with my weight. It was so much work to get here! I lost 40 pounds and put on a lot of musscle. I'm 128 but fit my clothes from when I was 115. :) it taught me that I should never put so much thought into what the scale says. The only thing that sucks is that I went from a 36 D to a 32 A :(. But I guess I would rather have tiny boobs than the big old stomach I used to have.
Am I happy with the number? Yes. Am I happy with what makes up that number? No.
I weigh 110 lbs but a lot of it is fat that I am slowly turning into muscle.
I am what they call "skinny fat" I'm fat because I lack muscle. My metabolism is fast so it keeps me thin but I don't have muscle so I'm fat...if that makes sense. I promise it's a thing.

I need to get my body fat down. I'm getting soft in my old age, haha. My weight is about where I want to be and usually have been, I'm 6'2 and about 215 with a good amount of muscle. I was letting work supercede taking care of myself for a while though, so I didn't go to the gym for about a year and a half, plus it coincided with 'retiring' from playing football and hitting my early 30s. My body just said "pfffffffbbbbbtttttttt" (is that how you write out the "raspberry" noise?) and started sagging, haha. My weight didn't change much, maybe 5 lbs here or there, but my change in body composition was noticeable. I got up to about 25% body fat, now I'm down closer to 15%. 10% is my target. I'd need a time machine to ever see 7%, haha. I don't think I'm meant to be real skinny anyway, my frame is pretty broad.
Usually 5ft4 and 117lbs or below but the weight is only there because I'm pretty toned. When I drop I look a tad on the skinny side which for some reason seems to happen with my mood/when I'm stressed (get it from my mother, sister has it too). Yeah I'm happy with my weight. I don't do anything, used to work out about 4 years ago but that isn't the reason for keeping a stomach that look like this link Mehh who knows.
honestly weight doesn't matter to me..Its the body fat percentage...160lb 20% body fat sucks compared to being 190 lb 10% body fat...That is why I wonder why people care about weight so much...If I was 200 and lost 50lb it would mean nothing because I would look the same...kinda...i don't know I am just harsh on myself...currently I am not happy with my physique...
i'm 45 kilos or around 99 lbs.. I'm not happy cause 48-49 kilos has always been my ideal weight ya know that :P but I'm still experimenting cause someone suggest that I should maintain my weight but this time do squats etc to have a slender/slimmer but still curvy figure I don't know I'm confused. how about the boobs? hahaha.. I'll give it a try though! summer is near thank goodness! yiheee! ^-^
I don't worry too much on how much I weigh. I worry more on how low my body fat percentage is. I don't even have a weight scale in my house anymore because there's really no need for it. As for my body fat. Yeah, I'm fine with it, but I wouldn't mind getting a little bit more cut.
I'm fairly happy with my current weight. I'm at about 135 and I'm around 5"8. Though, a lot of the extra stuff is muscle. I am a long distance runner and I do a lot of core and hip workouts, so it's not like I have extra fat from eating McDonald's or something. I feel and look healthy and that's all that matters. I want to look healthy rather than looking like my figure is composed of bones and I'm starving myself.
I'm 5'7" and currently 130. I gained about 10lbs suddenly after my 38th birthday. I hit the gym and the number didn't change but my shape did, and now I'm actually happier with it than I was at 120. I have a small frame so 10lbs up or down makes a big difference. My sister is the same height but looks better between 160 and 170. We just carry it very different.
i want to lose maybe 10 pds. iam going to start working out more frequently. passed 5 months I've been busy with school so now that iam done I can focus on training. little bit of baby fat I want to melt off. besides that iam happy with my physique, always room to get better and stronger though
I am, I measure 1.78 m and weigh 62 kgs. And my weight remains very stable since I eat enough and do a lot of sports. I feel well and so I'm happy!
If you're used to count in ft/in and lbs, it's 5 ft 10 in lengt and 137 lbs.I'm 150 at 5'10, but if anything look a lot skinnier than that. I'd ideally like around 30 pounds more muscle but that would take at least 3 years of intensive weight training while following a strict diet, which I'm unlikely to stick to.
I don't care about my weight as I've been the same since HS and I'm 27 years old now. However, body fat is a different story lol... I could lose some of that and replace it with muscle.
I'd like to get at least down to 125. I'm 5'4" and I was 125 a few months ago, but I gained about 10 pounds over the holidays. I blame it on getting dumped haha.
Hmm I weigh 176 and I'm 6 feet tall. I don't know when I got this big but I'm not even fat. My ideal weight is probably 180 but I don't wanna be too bulked up. Just toned with nice features.
I'm a little underweight. My dad keeps telling me that I need to eat more and exercise more. I'm trying, I'm trying, but it's just not working. My body mass index is between 18 and 18.5.
I'm 5"8 and my ideal weight is 180. I have too much body fat, and I hope to get it down to 20%. I'm currently in the mid 90's, but I will be back down to 180 in two months as long as I swim 5 miles a week and continue to lift weights.
I don't care, it's other people that seem to take an opinion on how I look. I only ever see myself in the mirror
Eh, I'm a tad overweight according to my doctor. THe thing is that I dnt look fat at all though. I do weightlift so I am curious how much muscle weight I have vs fat.
Eh I could deal with losing a few pounds... My ideal weight would be like 210 or something like that. I'm 6'5" so that's not enormous for guys my height.
I am 5'1 and weight 109. I have worked out for most of my life and eat healthy. I want to lose 5-10 more lbs just to be more fit.
im naturally 112lbs no matter what I eat or do, id like to gain another 10-20lbs to look a bit more curvy
