Sweetie, today's healthcare programs, along with health care people, are the Worse I have ever encountered. They don't care, old or young, if you drop dead on the floor in front of them. It's appalling to say the least, and down right degrading, but I speak the truth, and I want the world to know it.
Yes, they should have laid her down somewhere comfortable, or even sat her in a chair(did they at least do that?), and check for a pulse, her blood pressure, even feel her forehead. They probably didn't even ask her How she was feeling. By "just leaving her in the room", if something had happened to her, they could have been left liable. If anything, being she had fainted, they should have took all her vital signs to determine whether she needed either further assistance, or if all systems go, instead ask her if she knew someone who come pick her up and take her home for the remainder of the day. If she had fainted, there was a reason.
If I were her, and when she recuperates, she most definitely should file a report against these fruitcakes.
I hope she is okay now.xx

That is disgusting, she could have been having a heart attack, a stroke, or any number of things, IF IN DOUBT, GET A BLOODY AMBULANCE OUT, stay with them reassure them, lay them down keep them warm, no food unless diabetic! Talk to them listen ask if on meds, record what they are onm, chat about things other than them being ill. tell you company a life saver plus first aid course should be put on and paid for by the company.
FIRST lay them down & elevate their feet. (to get blood to the brain) Check to see if their conscious & alert (X's 3) Day, approximate time & where their at. If we get one of those their still breathing.
Honestly, don't mess around call 9-1-1. Let the paramedics do their tests on the person & let them take her to the hospital.

While fainting is not an emergency...check to see if she is dehydrated...#1 issue
Has this happened before?
How long has she been ill?
Are drugs/alcohol involved?
How has she been eating/sleeping?
