I have 100% natural hair (no dye, heat, nothing) and it's has big bouncy wavys and some ringlets. So I know personally that just because I use no heat or other damaging products doesn't mean my hair grows quickly/er (half and inch a month).
What I know works is letting the blood flow to my head for a few minutes that I do occasionally (no routine). I do this by lying on my bed and having my head hang over the edge. I stay here for around 5-10minutes and that's it. I once did it for only a week in a month and found my hair had grown 1.5 inches, instead of the normal half an inch! I only wash my hair twice a week by the way.
Scalp massages work too but I personally don't think it's as effective and it makes my head knotty and lots of hair comes out after I brush it later.
So give it a go :)

Eat a healthy diet, full of fish and nuts: healthy oils in your food become healthy oils in your hair. Don't wash your hair (i. e. shampoo and condition) more than once a week. Don't brush wet hair, comb it; let wet hair air dry, don't blow-dry it. I use Tresemmé Anti-Breakage shampoo and conditioner and it works well. If you want to thicken or grow your hair, use Mane & Tail Horse Shampoo - I know it sounds weird, but it really works.

The truth is that it will take time to get it there. The best thing you can do for your hair is just let it be. Don't wash it every day and avoid using heat on it as much as possible. Be very careful as to what hair products you use. Some can just strip your hair of all its natural oils. Also, don't color your hair or, if you do, get it done professionally and stay within your natural color range.
Your diet also effects your appearance. Drink nothing but water and tons of it. Eat a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and lean protein. No processed foods or sugar. If you want to look good on the outside you have to be smart about what you put in your body.dont dye it would be my only tip :P
The more you do to it, the more you kill it
