I also put thisas my alarm when I have to get up early to work out. Sounds crazy but it helps.
Also are set on staying with low carb? You don't need to feed your kids junk food a lot of carbs are healthy. We need carbs to survive, if you don't get them, you'll crave them. There's nothing wrong with eating whole grain rice/ pasta/ couscous or potatoes like every other day or so. You'll feel much better. Everyone is different. I feel terrible on low carb diets and I don't lose weight either. I feel good on balanced diets and I lose weight that way too.
As for your kids, not quite sure but you can make healthy substitutes for a lot of things so you don't need to keep them in the house. Dried fruits are really sweet. Instead of making pancakes with sugar and flour simply use 1 banana and 2 eggs. You can substitute protein powder for flour in a lot of cupcakes or brownies and setvia for sugar. Instead of ice cream, freeze mashed bananas, let defrost for like 5 min, then blend with some milk and peanut butter or cacao powder. If you have a dehydrator you can make healthy vegetable chips. A lot of things like that

I hear you I know it's hard. I have a husband that can eat whatever he wants and not gain an ounce and three kids as well. I work out three to five times a week and I have started watching what I am eating again and I drink a lot of smoothies and protein shakes especially after working out. I cut all pop and chips and cookies etc out and I still crave it but I give myself a day on the weekend to indulge a bit. Smoothies are easy cause you can buy frozen fruit from the store and you always have some on hand to throw in the blender. I also use almond milk instead of milk to make them as it's healthier.
"I can't just get rid of it my kids eat it."
So just get rid of your kids.
Just joking haha thats terrible. Just think of it like this: Looking good this summer will feel better than any food will taste. And it lasts longer.
How long have you been trying, are you going entirely carb free, are there any carb breaks, when are you finding it hard?

first off you have to look at your diet as a life style change and u should try and add new healthy eating habits to your kids diet as well. you should be a role model for your kids. start your day out eating protein which helps reduce your cravings 4 carbs and sugar. eat 5 mini meals threw out the day. also weight watchers online can help u out. try and exercise 3 days a week for half hr each day. jump rope, iceskaters, jumping jacks, pushups, squats, and lunges are all exercises u can do without any equipment. good luck
Substitute it with something else. I'm on a diet and every time I want to eat I drink a glass of water, so that I eat less. When I want to eat something unhealthy I usually make a healthy smoothie, eat a piece of fruit or whole grain (but still in small portions).
You need another go to snack that's the problem. Try like fruit smoothies. Just buy frozen fruit and add a bit of raw sugar and what ever you like
Low carb diets are very hard to stick to because we are addicted to carbs like no other generation in history.
The best you can do, is to keep high fat foods nearby. Fatty foods are great appetite suppressants.Every time you go for one of those foods, just ask yourself "Will I feel better after eating this?/Will this help me reach my goal?" Keep more fresh fruits around as healthy snacks instead.
u need to change inside
or just work out a lotWill power is one thing you could try.
