Tanning, yes or no? Are tans more beautiful in your eyes guys?

Heading into swimsuit season should I start tanning or not? I have very fair skin and it's pretty healthy but is white skin a total turnoff? My friends always tease me about it but I think it's fine. I just want to look my best. Thanks.

Thanks for all the input. I guess I will just stay natural and tell my girlfriends and workout buddy to zip it. He teases me that I light up the whole place ;)

A nice tan looks so nice, but they also mean increased risk of skin cancer. And a few of those tans added together usually lead to ugly leathery skin later in life. I have seen some people that probably looked what is considered beautiful in younger life, that now look like old leather with some bad spots that could be cancer starting.

Not worth the risk.

Fair can be beautiful as can tanned, but a tan with white boobs and lower area doesent look good to me. All over white or all over tan. If you just want color without the risks, get a spray tan.

Love your skin. You dont know how Asians love white skin. Lol. They do so many things to have their skin whitened. Well anyway, just love your skin. Tanning isn't really healthy, love your skin and be proud of it girl. You are beautiful the way you are ☺☺☺☺

In my opinion, tanning is really unhealthy for your skin! It's better to keep your natural skin tone, and I think it's weird how girls always like to tan. It ruins your skin. I think it's prettier if girls have fair skin.

No its not a turnoff. Putting yourself in a body toaster is dumb (fake tanning), and even lying out in the sun is boring as hell. I'd rather be with a girl who put a little effort into her looks but not all of her spare time.

I prefer fair skin. Even if I did like tanned women, it destroys their skin and causes wrinkles. Long term women will look better not tanning.

It depends. Some girls look better with a tan; others, terrible. The majority of woman fall into the latter, not the former. In other words, in my opinion, most girls look worse with a tan.

A heavy or fake tan is not attractive but a more natural tan can look great. I love pale girls but a nice glow from a natural tan that is not too dark for your features can look nice.

I don't give a rats a** about a womans skin color, white, tan, brown, black.. If I am attracted to you, it has no relevance to the color of your skin. Unless you are literally white like paper with pimples all over, then it's a little weird.

I would suggest they wash with soap and water a little better, luckily I have never met a girl like this, just nerdy teenagers. So I am not sure what I would suggest.
