Would this be a good gift for my friend who misses her mother?

My English friend loves the character of Winnie the Pooh because it reminds her of her mother who would read her Winnie the Pooh stories when she was a little girl.

I believe she lost her mother two years ago around Christmas time so I imagine this is a difficult time for her emotionally.

I was thinking of sending her this Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal with a written note telling her I hope she can look at this and remember the good times she shared with her mother.

Something such as.

"Dear Diana,

In this magical season of joy and love, I wanted to gift you something special that will always remind you of the happy times you shared with your dear mother. Just like Winnie the Pooh brought warmth and comfort to your heart through your mom's beautiful storytelling, may this little friend be a constant reminder of the love and bond you both shared. Whinnie the Pooh is cute, but I think you could get a high quality whinnie stuffed toy. I would also give something beside the Pooh toy, such as a wooden basket with some flowers or decorations inside. You want to remind her that she still has a life outside her dead mother too.

yeah, it's so thoughtful and so cute. if there was a specific book of Winnie that her mother read to her then it might also be good to add on to the gift!! if not, just the bear and the letter is sufficient 🥺
