How will I know if he’s the right one to marry?

I’m a Christian woman. I’ve entered into an agreement that if I’m attracted to my best guy friend who’s been my long distance best friend for 6 years; when we meet in person in two months, I’ll agree to marry him in 2 years’ time. How will I know if he’s the right one when I meet him?

This kind of agreement is pretty risky for a Christian person. Is the man Christian as well? If not, the situation might devolve into a nightmare. But I guess if You feel safe around Him, He's fine to be married.

By not basing this on an agreement, let alone with a man you haven't met in person yet. Mert him, date him, look at the person you are, the man he is, and determine from there if each of you are what the other needs in marriage.
