Why do random people stare at me?

ANYWHERE I go there has to be at least someone staring at me and I don't understand why... and when I look at them most people just keep staring and it becomes like a bit of a staring contest until I have to look away. I hate it because it makes me feel awkward and self-concious...

People will usually stare when
A. They like what they see
B. You're ugly
C. You have crazy hair colors or something similar that'll just draws attention to you for 1 reason or another.

Now if that's you in your profile photo, you know just like 70% of humans know that you're hot. Not only that, but you've probably been getting stared at your whole life... so yeah I'm calling this 1 a "bs question" LOL

No BS here. This is a genuine question and no only recently, last 2 years, have I been getting stares, I didn't used to question it but nowadays I do and it makes me feel crap like I dislike going outside as much because of it. I only asked it now because I wanted the answers from random people who don't know me and it's a lot less awkward. So yeah no BS :)

I hate when women ask these questions. Lol. Seriously. When I was in high school, I was dating a girl who is now doing Playboy stuff (she isn't that well known, but does other magazine stuff as well). Anyway... every time I went out with her, she would always complain that people (especially men) were always staring at her.

It is also very possible that people in general don’t stare at you that much. No more than they stare at anybody else or at least not much more. This is something you can overcome by paying more attention to the situations where others do not gawk at you or they don’t even notice you, bearing them in mind, and then trying to objectively asses how frequently do others truly gawk at you.

Yeah I notice when I'm listening to music, it feels like people stare at me less and I feel less self concious

Its pretty obvious. When guys find a girl attractive they simply cannot look away. I know, even when u catch them staring they don't look away till it gets weird so in the end, u look away :p guys guys guys.. can't live with em, can't live without em ;)

That's good to know :) I always get sad and don't want to go back out again. I do my hair and makeup so it makes me feel like I must really be a hideous beast if I think "oh I look great today" and then everyone stares at me like I'm an alien. :(
