It's good that you mention that Gorillas have more intelligence, but you should have thought about using that to your advantage, for with the Gorilla you might have a slightly higher chance of reasoning with it. Perhaps if you can show the Gorilla that you accept its dominance it might not attack you or it might show some pity. You see?
I wouldn't count on it. I heard making yourself small can help with polar bears. But those animals are like HUGE, I wouldn't be able to bring myself letting down my guard.
Up to you, but I see far less chance with the king of the jungle, it's far far more difficult for the lion to empathise with you. The gorillas like the chimps are more closely related to humans, and they might understand; you offer them something, and if it happens to be a banana you become instant best friends. hehe
chimps are brutal though... if you look up documentaries from them... they aren't as sweet as the zoo makes them seem.

That's true, I think it's better to fight a gorilla because there is a slightly higher chance that you will come to some accord through body language. Like kind of saying, ' O. K King Kong I know you are the boss don't hurt puny little me please :>'
Gorillas are like 5 times stronger, and they can tear you into pieces, literally, without needing to bite!! Not to mention they are like 500 pounds!! As our ancestors, they are more agile than us, and they will put you down if you offend them, or invade their territory!!
