Do you think 19 years old is considered a teenager or an adult?

I thought being an adult is when you turn 18 but some people say it's when you turn 20. if that's the case I thought I was an adult like 4 years ago so I now I feel like I wasted my teens if that's the case and feel old. I'm 23 now and I feel old as hell for some reason. What do you think.. Adult at 18 or 20? Cause I know some 19 year olds calling themselves teenagers still.

18 like 22, basically college age, is kind of like adulthood-with-training wheels. Depends a lot what you're doing with your life too. But generally, 18-22, I don't really expect that much out of anyone, haha. You live in an apartment with like five other people and come up with your $300 for rent every month, and just get used to handling your own business: holding down a job, keeping up with your bills, maintaining some semblance of a household, etc👍

Generally I consider girls physically an adult at around 12-14ish and for boys around 14-16ish. Mentally I consider girls adults at about 25-maybe 30 and guys at about 30+. I based that more on biological reasons rather than my opinion.

There are occasionally 10 year old girls that are fully developed. They don't get any taller and their breast won't grow any larger for example. The brain still develops until around 25+.

Well, im 19 and I definitely dont consider myself a teen girl. But i also dont think im a full grown adult. I may have a job, my own place, my freedom and stuff but I still dont feel like ready to have a family. Thats what full grown adults are in my mind. Those who stop fooling around and work towards having a family.

let's see, nineteen, the word teen is there, therefore you are a teenager. while you are legally an adult, you are still a teenager.

a teenager is betweentl the ages of 13-19 aka ages with teen in it. if you are within those ages you are a teenager

teenager, not only does it have teen in the word but, it's believed that you don't become a full adult until you're 21, biologically. thats why a lot of states are 21, for the drinking age. states and countries who have it lower, well, haven't realized it yet

Nineteen is a teen. Eighteen is a legal adult, but still a teen by definition. Teen and adult are not mutually exclusive terms. Young adult is often used in those cases.

It's all about being mature enough to try and understand the situations, people and act accordingly. I've seen people may be 30 who still act childish. vice-versa.

You're technically an adult at 18 though you're still technically a teen. It can take some people quite a few years after that to grow out of adolescence. You're not old.

I think you can be a teen at least till 25 then you should start figuring things out on your own.

Well I think it depends I left my moms at 19 got pregnant at 19 had my baby at 20 got my first apartment with my boyfriend at 20 I’m now turning 23 next week in our second apartment I feel old as hell but I didn’t consider myself a teen at 19 I was doing adult things
