What do you all think? Do women typically get shorter over time than men? Or is it roughly the same? I had this theory that if women naturally develop faster than men then how come over several years (maybe like 30 plus years) their height drops as well? Basically what I'm saying is why does it seem like women lose their height somewhat faster than men do? This is just a theory and I really don't have solid evidence to support this other than my family and my friend's family to go off on. From what I've gathered both family's from theirs and ours typically have shorter women at the age of 40 plus than the men in both families typically have except on just a few occasions. This has made me come to conclude that women are either shrinking faster due to age then men are, or simply not as tall as a majority of the men in both family's with different backgrounds.
Sure they're tall women out there, but I just believe women seem in majority to be a little shorter than a man would. One could argue that people don't shrink over the years but I beg to differ, for example if you were 6 ft and when you reach an elderly age and became 4 inches shorter it's still shrink.
I don't know, just a theory.. what do you guys and gals think? Do women shrink? If at all then do they shrink faster than a man would over several years in their lives?
