Is anyone else saddened by the faltering demise of Britney Spears Sanity?

As a child I've watched Britney Spears grow from a young teenage girl to a fully grown woman. Along that line, I've also watched her mental health deteriorate right in front of my eyes. I would say recently especially when it comes to her TIKTOK videos, she doesn't look well at all, and this hit's me hard, especially as a mental health sufferer.

I guess I caught up to her by the time she was already a big name and watched her go down from there.

But honestly when it comes to celebrities like that you can never tell what is real and what is staged.

I do believe she's actually going through something but I think the way her story is being told to us is cleverly designed and not just arbitrary.

Her PR team definitely are counting on the fans pitty as fuel to keep her name relevant in modern times.

After all the teenagers who listend to her and worshiped her are now adults with their kids almost teenagers and if she's gonna be sold to the new genration she can't be yesterdays news she needs go be relavent.

And modern audiences love a good mental health struggle story especially if she overcomes it at some point. Mental health is the new jean shorts and fishnet stockings you see.

Why? Did something new happen? I mean I know she went crazy back in the early 2000's... partying with the Hilton heiress girl, shaving her head, marrying... divorcing.
I had heard she was back to normal. I even saw her as s judge on some singing show... X-Factor perhaps.

If you watch recent videos of her, she just really does not look together, there's something I can't quite put my finger on. It's her body language, she is sort of all over the place. I think quite a few people are concerned for her wellbeing. I am but in a loving way.

Off topic but I remember all of these young girl pop singers exploded on the scene at about the same time. Britney, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore.
Of them I was always blown away by Christina's voice. She had/has some major singing chops.
I was never impressed with Britney's voice... she always sounded like she was singing through some electronic synthesizer or something and I never got the vibe she had much of a voice. I thought she was mostly "image" and looks.
Simpson... I don't think I've ever even heard one of her songs... not sure how she got so famous.

The sad thing is that her mental health has played out in the courts. She is bound by a conservatorship this means that a court as well as mental health professionals have deemed her incapable of managing her own person affairs. I predict that eventually that conservatorship will likely be turned into a guardianship to which she will lose more of her civil rights. With a guardianship she will not be allowed to own property, drive a car, vote or even get married. Its a nasty and sad but very necessary legal process for people who are mentally ill.

I guess she let herself get abused and used with no protection or support around her. She got cheated on and had a family with a shitty guy. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was also sexually abused by someone in that industry. While others trying to keep her drugged to milk her success. She might also be mentally ill because she seems really very unstable. But people who benefit from her name try to keep her going and polish her

All I can say is that hollywood is not kind to people. It eats you up and spits you back out. It seems, dreamy and feels glamorous but depression and drugs are all too common in hollywood. It is a struggle for everyone including unfortunately Britney spears

I think being a celebrity is not easy especially for a person like Britney.

For a person who comes from a place that the only museum dedicated to Britney, says a lot. The pressure must be too much to handle on top of dealing with her family issues.

Sure I feel for her, but her life boils down to choice, she made a series of catastrophic decisions that destroyed her. And the fact that she tries so hard to hold onto the past only makes it worse. She should have done what her sister did, quietly disappear. Focus on her family. Instead she went somewhat crazy and lost most of it, including access to her kids.

If you watch all the younger singers like brittany and miley, the all act the same way. They dress slutty, the money and popularity went to their heads. It wouldn't surprise me if they all crashed and burned. That's what happens when you get into drugs

She ain't that sweet teenage girl anymore, everytime she does a music clip, she appears more sl*tty then her previous ones...

She must seek therapy and maybe search for a real love...

I like Britney and I never really understood the harsh criticism of her in the media. I respect that she's worked hard to be successful despite the lack of any discernible talent. I have to admit that my respect and fondness don't extend to following her on Tik-Tok (whatever that is) but I hope and expect that she will get through this. The Covid Lockdown has made us all a little crazy, has it not?

Though it's pretty common for former celebrities to suffer from some sort of mental issue. I don't hold it against her.

And you have to take into account that she's not the teen she was at the beginning, she's almost 40 now.
