I can remember AOL as child. Me and my cronies surfed per 56k modem and AOL as provider with those CDs which were an add to every gaming/PC magazine and granted 48 hour of free connection. However AOL was already dying. It was so 2003-2004 around. As my parents installed ADSL with 786k bit (faster than light in this time ) AOL chatrooms became less interesting.
