Honestly people are way worst I had a neighbor that actually killed kittens cuz they were ruining his yard. But like no that’s not mean at all jus see why they keep going into ur property and do something that wouldn’t harm them. But I mean it’s not he nicest thing but it’s reasonable.
Cats would never poop or pee over a patio they will always burry their feces, which may explain the garden.
But other than that cats are the most hygenic animals ever.
The best way to keep stray or neighbours cats away would be to get a cat yourself, they will defend your garden as their territory.
But as long as you don't hurt the cat... but they will come back, its their territory now.

s It’s not bad. Feral cats can total destroy an ecosystem. I’d have personally just shot the cats if they were ferals or strays. More humane for them, solves my problem and protects the ecosystem. Tell that to the animal lover. If they want proof of what happens when cats go feral, have them google “Australia’s feral cat problem”
