I just hope women have access to abortions. My aunt suffered an ectopic pregnancy. If the fetus wasn’t aborted then it would’ve been a death sentence for her. There’s so many reasons why women need access to safe abortions. Suicide rates are about to soar.
I'm not sure about more suicides, but women will be traveling to different states in those medical situations.
What I mean is that there are more liberal states that are going to go overboard the same way more conservative states are going to go overboard against abortions. There will be states that allow non-emergency, third trimester abortions. That's not pro-choice. That's pro-abortion.
If it’s still legal for them to do that. I don’t know what the truth behind it is but isn’t there the possibility that they could still be prosecuted if it’s found out they travelled out of state for an abortion?
It makes me wonder about the aftermath of a miscarriage as well, there are situations where the fetus is already decreased but needs to be medically removed which is classed as abortion even though it’s technically not. Women will now be punished for miscarrying.
I doubt women will be punished for having miscarriages, and liberal activists will be sponsoring trips and protections for women to have their abortions in more liberal states.
Not the miscarriage itself but the procedure to remove the fetus. Didn’t you read the article about the pregnant woman that was charged for murder after she was shot in the stomach. The fetus was killed but a mans gun but she was the one charged. It’s the stories like these that scare me because believe it or not, they happen.
The charge was that her violent aggressive actions were what indirectly caused the death of her unborn baby. That's why the charge was Manslaughter and not Murder. She was also 5 months pregnant. That's beyond just about all legal abortion cutoffs in any state, even before today's decision. This story isn't exactly a good example of reasonable people being against pro-choice.
Yes she should've been charged with something, but she didn't start or escalate the fight. I read the article three times, and searched up other articles on the same story. The pregnant woman was the aggressor, and she was 5 months pregnant. The story has nothing to do with being pro-choice, despite the author implying otherwise.
It had everything to do with it. It demonstrates circumstances where women will be charged unfairly and scenarios like this will become way more common now that this has happened.
What's going to be more common? Pregnant women starting fights with other women?
You keep claiming she was unfairly charged. She wasn't. She started the fight and continued the fight. She attacked the other woman she was the aggressor. Her unborn child wouldn't have been killed by the other woman if she never started the fight.
The case also has nothing to do with Roe Verses Wade and being pro-choice. The woman in this case was 5 months pregnant. That's more than 20 weeks pregnant. Even with Roe Verses Wade in place, there was/is no place in the United States where you can get a casually and legally get an abortion beyond 20 weeks, unless it's a medical emergency.

I have at least one wire coat hanger
I can see some from where I am sitting.
The thick metal ones are best. My grandmother was blind and she tied Yarn around two metal hangers
I use wooden hangers
Mine are made of wood
Can i get 4pm appt for my pregnant wife?
Why, are you getting ready for the abortion ban?

Ready and waiting
The amount of men not understanding this question lmao
Probably because those methods haven't been used since the 70s.

I know. And they’re about to start being used again.
In some states. In other states, they're going to legalize late-term abortions. "States' Rights" goes both ways.

It was a woman who shot her, my bad. But still the woman who shot her walked free.
It says in the article that the pregnant woman was the aggressor. She started and escalated the fight. However that is an extremely unique case.
Yes but she was not the one who killed the fetus.

But the woman who pulled the trigger still walked free. They’re still punishing the wrong people.
