The correct answer, as just about everyone got, is Switzerland.

Its flag is square, only Vatican City also has a square flag; all other country flags are rectangular, except for Nepal, which is two triangles
Languages: German, French, Italian, Romansh
Swiss neutrality in all conflicts goes back to 1515
The Large Hadron Collider at CERN is partly in Switzerland, partly in France
