Why do guys/girls?

I think that the vast majority of questions that start like this, could simply be answered if the person would just look in a mirror. Guys and girls are not all that different. The reasons they do things are not all that different.

Instead of asking "Why do guys/girls?", people should simply ask "Why do people?" And even then, many of the questions could be answered if they simply put themselves in the other person's place.

Emotional questions need not to be segregated, but what about the influence of separate physiology (separate hormones levels, etc)? This changes responses, and makes men and women feel differently. Not in all cases though yeah

I agree. There are some things that only guys or only girls can answer. But as far as why we do things, they aren't very different. That's why I don't get when people ask questions like, "What does it mean when this guy in my class always smiles when he sees me?"

Well, I think here on GAG when people ask such questions, they are finding reassurance of feelings from the public! :P (including me hahaha)

Yea we are far more alike than different but I think this site is pretty geared towards gender based questions.

Agree, because many Qs are NOT gender-specific and could be easily answered by ANY G@Ger, male or female.

Disagree, because some Qs can ONLY be BEST answered by the opposite sex!

I agree because answering a question with a question is not doing anything at all. I could ask why do girls do something then someone is going to ask well why do guys do it? They can also say because guys do it
