Would you call someone out if you see their behaviour towards a minor is inappropriate/unacceptable?

I have done called people out for their wrong behaviour. Be it their creepy behaviour or them raising their hand at their partner or someone in public. I cannot just see that and stay quiet.

Recently I've had an argument with a friend over a creep whose behaviour is very inappropriate towards minors. I said his behaviour is getting worse and I'll call him out for it. She disagreed and said that since it's not my problem, I shouldn't get involved. (I'm confused.. Why did she tell me about the guy's actions since she knows that I can't overlook things.)

So, I'm confused whether I'm being wrong here or are there other people who thinks it isn't wrong to call someone out for their unacceptable behaviour towards kids?

You have to be 100% sure without a doubt that you are in the right about that. Or be ready to suffer the consequences when you don’t. If it’s obvious signs of inappropriate behavior (I. e touching, kissing, etc… tangible signs) then yes, I will intervene. But women think most things that they see from a guy is creepy to begin with, especially if it’s a guy they don’t particularly like are makes them uncomfortable. So out of emotion, women will impulsively do something or accuse without objective evidence. So for me, not unless I see clear and concise evidence or if the child states or the minor looks in distress, which is also very iffy as well. Otherwise, you should really never get involved.

I can't stand inappropriate behaviour - especially when it comes to children. I've had inappropriate relations with adult men as a minor and where I'm at age of consent is 15.

+ I've dedicated my professional life to working with the wellbeing of children, I could not look myself in the mirror if I knew I didn't interfere with a child possibly being harmed. No child should be doing anything inappropriate with an adult and it is our responsibility as adults to protect children. If it be our own blood or not. Children need protection.

yes I would. certain behaviours are just extremely triggering for me, and I do dislike it when people are being treated badly while they can not necessarily defend themselves. I will stand up and do or say something in that case, even tho, it doesn’t always end up good… and I do have people in my life who stop me from doing certain things like that simply because it just might not end up well on top of putting myself at risk.

I would but I’ll make sure I’m acting within jurisdiction. It’s not like if I feel like slapping a person for misbehaving with a child I’d just do it. I’ll try my best to get the inappropriate behaviour noticed.

I stepped between a good friend and his wife when he tried to hit her after he fell off the wagon. Since he's got a record I'm not sure how sensible it was at the time, but I was raised to defend a lady from abuse. It's so much a part of me I don't know if I could do anything different.

I know one time I went to Rite- Aid Pharmacy And Store and I saw this teen girl getting slapped on her behind by the guy who was her grand-dad, but her dad just looked at me when they could tell that I noticed them like to me stop me let them be. Yes, it was unappriopate behavior and sorry if this upsetted you.
