My ex girlfriends boyfriend just threaten me over the phone.

Alright, we have been broken up for about a year at this point. I told her I blocked her phone because she was harassing me all the time. Anyways, I she texted me last week, talking about the past is this nice way (she has done this before and when I engage it eventually goes sour). She wished me dead over and over before so I'm tired of hearing from her. I wrote something sexual about her past and made it clear that all I wanted to do was discuss sexual stuff. So she wrote back it was a mistake to contact me.

Today she contacts me and tells me some of her tax info is coming to my place (our old apartment together) and asks if it's OK if she can get it. I say sure and ask her to call the internet company to get her name off my bill. She agrees. After it's done she starts texting me, says things like

"I don't care about your ideas"

"You are bad at dealing with people."

"You're a boring ass"

"Useless and pathetic government employee"

"You're pathetic"

So, since she's being shitty, I use this as a chance to discuss her sexually. She oddly reveals that she has sex with her boyfriend at work. She accuses me of being abusive when we were together. Eventually she tells me to stop texting. I send one text asking her how to block her from my phone (I also called her a little slut, which she called herself earlier in the convo), Anyway, I back off, trying to figure out how to block her.

Two hours later I realize I have three missed calls from some number I don't recognize. I call back, it's her boyfriend he yells "If you ever fucking text my girlfriend again I'll fucking beat the shit out of you. Stop texting her." I say "Ok, have a good day." and hang up.

This guy is a large guy. He could definitely destroy me.

Any advice. He knows where I live.

Is there something I can do, even legal in a soft sense (like not charge him, but have a warning given out)?

Or is there a way to calm this situation?

Very weird. I have never seen a group of answers where one gender is completely right and one gender is completely wrong. Thanks for the support ladies! So bizarre that the guys are suggesting that I'm desperate for sex when I dumped her a long time ago. I evicted her from my apartment.

Your ex sounds like a wacko and her new boy toy sounds like a bullying ass. He's probably just worries that she's still in love with you... and she obviously has mixed feelings. If he contacts you again just let him know that you're not interested in her at all, and that she's been talking to you. Ignore her, do not talk or text her at all, block her and if need be get a restraining order okay? I don't want you to get beat up by some guy because your ex is bi-polar you know?

Just as InquisitiveMale said, ignore her, block her number, stay away. Block his number as well and if he shows up at your door - call the police. Also, make sure to save any threatening messages or conversations as proof of harassment.

Oh definitely. I do not want her back at all. She is completely insane and can't be reasoned with. I just don't like the fact that her new boyfriend (who is married) is big and threatening me. I have no desire to fuck with crazy angry men.

Well, even if he threatened you over the phone, that's still grounds for calling the police. That way if he were to show up at your doorstep, the police have it on record that you reported him earlier and will take it more seriously.

Get a restraining order. Stop interacting with her. After one year of being broken up, you should have no contact with her at this point.

Document ALL of her texts, phone calls, e-mails est. And take her to court! sue for emotional harassment.

Even if the texts come through, you can either ignore them or text back "I think you got the wrong number". She's obviously trying to get under your skin, and responding only encourages her. The other two responders seem to think you're the one agitating the situation and creating drama for yourself. So it's obviously not just me thinking that.
