No, the problem is that that waiting until after marriage & not having sex is seen as "boring" nowadays :) There's nothing wrong with growth and evolution but it should be in a positive direction :) I mean some guys are ridiculous about their expectations. For example, I had a guy who didn't even know my full name & he apparently wanted a nude picture. To me that is a sign of disrespect but he didn't even try to get to know me or express an interest in anything other than appearances. I think that's the point I'm getting at :)

I really don't think any girl should be considered slutty. That's a horrible stereotype and one that guys are never subjected to even when they're doing it as much as they want. My question to you is this: Why are you encouraging the belief that friends with benefits & one night stands are okay? Obviously they reflect underlying self-esteem issues for girls and/or guys (in my opinion). Some guys don't take this seriously because at the end of the day they're getting what they want (which is sex). On the other hand, they don't seem to understand why girls desire more than that. I know of some guys who have sex with girls & then walk right out when they finally get it. This to me is a sign of carelessness because he suddenly views her in a different light & stops respecting her. My point is that a girl can never really win. When she doesn't have sex she's seen as undesirable, but when she does she is viewed as a slut. There should be respect regardless :) & I like smiley faces :)
Well, I only say slutty because to you clearly that's what girls who have casual sex are. But for me, I see those women as sexually liberated so long as they're having sex of their own volition and rational thought and not because they are being pressured or hope to be liked more as a result.
How is making love with someone disrespectful simply because it doesn't come attached with a commitment to date one another? I've met girls who've just wanted to sleep with me and I've done the same. I get that companionship is great. I really do. But why is casual sex not great just because it is not the same?
Please don't put words in my mouth, lol. I never once said or implied that girls who are sexually active are slutty. That being said, there's nothing necessarily wrong with your perspective so long as respect is still in the equation. If a guy & a girl decide to have sex that's their decision, but he should at least have the courtesy to get to know her as a person before writing her off. In my mind, being intimate with someone should be taken more seriously. People sometimes make it seem like a hit and run. What I mean to say is that people are downplaying its importance and tossing the word around like it's nothing. You don't find it the least bit disturbing that 12-year-old girls are now acting twice their age because that's what society is telling them to do? Whatever happened to getting to know someone before deciding to have sex? Is it so wrong to want some kind of friendship that doesn't simply revolve around physicality? I think it's normal to crave mental stimulation as well
Well, it's just that when you say things like "whatever happened to..." it's like you want people to change. I disagree. I think people who think like i think should respect people who think like you think and vice versa. I personally feel like not every person can you feel an emotional connection and i think your opinion is that with those people you should not be physical with them. I'm hoping that the sexual liberation of women means your time is ending and my time is just beginning in that the hook up culture is on the rise and traditional dating is dying. i think in the long run people will be happier because half the guys in relationships i think only do that cuz the girl wants it and the ones who continue to date girls exclusively when its really easy to sleep around do so because they really want monogamy and tradionalism

Most guys want to hook up and screw around (like me), but girls are the opposite.
Most girls I know want to settle down too young if you ask me. I know so many girls between 18-20 years who already want to get married.
That seems to be my problem :) I've always been very idealistic in the sense that I want to get married, have a kid, and finally be the guy I'm supposed to be with lol :) I just feel like I owe it to my future husband to be classy & not sleep around with anyone.
I agree alotta girls do not know what they want at a young age especially smart girls and religoius girls. These girls watch way too much fantasy movies and read too many fairytales. I have also met bitches (not the same as women) who just want a fuck buddy and to screw around. Same for both guys and girls if you ask me.

60% of marriages end in divorce, and most of the good, lasting marriages are miserable waiting games. People still hold onto hope that they can find the real thing, but more and more are opening their eyes to the fact that the odds are pretty steep against them, and then they just give up. I'm still want the real thing, and I think I found it, but I still can't blame people for making an informed choice, after all: it's their choice to make.
