Jealous of my boyfriend's video game characters?

They're all insanely hot. We're in an LDR so I don't think I'm totally irrational in thinking that he might enjoy how they look and then get disappointed with how different my looks are to theirs, especially since I'm not there for him to mess around with and see naked etc, whereas these (fictional, I know) girls are there for him to gawk at and appreciate whenever he wants. Not to mention he's able to control them and in some cases he can choose their body types, outfits, and if they have sex.

How can I get past this? He tells me that I'm the only one he loves and wants to be with and I completely believe him, but I feel like we both know I don't look anywhere near as beautiful as them and that makes me kind of sad.

They generally only have but so many body types for female characters in video games- and they're all super fit and often have huge boobs. I wouldn't take this to heart at all. It's just a game.

I know. But that's the kind of body I'd like to have, you know? Fit, nice butt, perfect boobs. I'll admit that I do have a booty, but it frustrates (and kind of embarrasses) me that the rest of me doesn't look like those girls do.

I understand wishing you had a perfect body, but I strongly doubt he's comparing you to something like video game characters. It'd be different if this were about like p*rn or real living women with skin, but video games are 100% unrealistic in *every* way. If he wanted to lust over hot girls, he'd look at p*rn- not a game.

You're right...but to be fair, he was actually watching p*rn until about 8 months into our relationship. I found out randomly and it was a huge blow to my self-esteem - like, why was he still watching p*rn when I was constantly sending him sexy pics and videos? We worked through that and now he's stopped watching p*rn altogether, which I appreciate because I'm sure it's hard for him after watching it so often.

Being that you are in a long distance relationship, I wouldn't be toooo harsh on the p*rn usage, but that's an entirely different conversation. My point is simply that you don't need to worry about video games girl. They are not a threat.

If you want a better body just start working out and do a low carb diet (it works wonders). You can have a significantly improved body in a few months, if you put in the effort. It's better to do that than to beat yourself up over not looking like what you think his ideal is.

I'm trying, and thankfully I'm at a healthy average weight as opposed to being way overweight, but to be honest it's my chest area that I'm most disappointed with. What my BF keeps telling me is that I can't change my boobs and that he wouldn't want me to anyways because he loves them the way they are. I'm trying to believe that, but it's hard to when his video game girls (and I guess his favourite p*rn girls) are busty and aren't afraid of showing it off.

From what I've seen, ALL video game girls have huge boobs. But being in better shape would make you feel better about yourself and would "make up" for lacking in boob-age, since there's nothing you can do about that.

I'm just jealous because he himself created these female characters; they're obviously sexy to him. I know who some of his favourite pornstars are and the female characters have similar bodies to them - but I don't. So it makes me wonder why he loves my body as much as he does.
