That happened to me before. Wasn't the stomach flu, I got food poisoning and I wasn't really shitting but holy moly I vomited the entire ocean in three days, I was so sick. It happened at my boyfriends house and his mom wouldn't let me drive home so I stayed there and he held my hair back, cuddled me, brought me water and ginger ale and all that. He slept beside me even though I was waking up to puke all night, and he just rubbed my back. They gave me a garbage can to barf in, and he would actually dump it out because eventually I was so weak I couldn't do it myself. -_- I hate throwing up. I get so scared I start shaking so bad.
I had exactly this happen when I was staying at my boyfriends. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt really really ill.
Next thing I knew I was exploding. My boyfriend came and sleepily checked on me and held my hair back. At one point I shuffled him out of the room because I literally exploded both ends same time (sorry for the image). I cleaned up after me but he kept checking on me when I was just being sick.
He didn't catch anything other than really tired.
I'm a girl, so if I am sick I don't want my boyfriend near me really. But it is sweet that he is willing at least to do anything I need. That makes me feel a bit better knowing if I needed him, he was there. He usually gets me crackers, water or Gatorade, pepto bismal and asks if there's anything else before I tell him "No thank you, sweetie. I need to rest now." Once I am feeling better, 24 hours later we go back to cuddling.
I would take care of her. I would stand behind her and hold her hair back out of her face while she was throwing up. I would do this while I rubbed her tummy and I would also tell her to do anything that make her tummy feel better. I would also have my toilet ready just incase she started getting diarrhoea as well as throwing up and I would also make sure she knew she could burp and fart as much as she needed to, to try and help her sore tummy. This may sound weird but it is how I am. When she was not being sick I would cuddle with her.
Well, I don't necessarily think I'd HOLD her, being that she would be vomiting, but I would definitely take care of her. Skipping out in those situations is just pure lame.

I would take care of her. I'd clean her place, cook food for her, give her massages, and do everything else needed.
What does a FRIEND do? Help out. I'm a loyal friend which means I'm going to do my best to help you out in any way.
I wouldn't stay as far as possible away from her, but I wouldn't cuddle with her either. I will make sure to get her water and that sort of thing for her, of course.
Been there, done that. "A" every time. Why? Cos you'd want her to do the very same thing if it was YOU unwell!!
What sort of question is that? Of course I'll take care of her. Hell, I'll take her to the nearest hospital in no time, if I have to.
