What was the point in my boyfriend telling me he dated a stripper?

I have nothing against the profession but I dont get why he offered this info to me- not just his last girlfriend, a stripper, but all his girlfriends, and all the details of the relationship.

There could be many reasons for him sharing this:
a) In the heat of the moment, he might think that would turn you on;
b) His way of being open and honest and bringing you closer together;
c) A safe guard, letting you know now, rather than finding out later;
d) Giving you a heads-up as to what he likes;
