Why are there so many white females with hispanic males but very few white males with hispanic females? Why isn't it more balanced?

There are really many white female - hispanic male couples, I would actually say that's probably the most common interracial couple in America, but for some reason it's quite rare to see a white male with a hispanic female? Why? Why is there such a big difference and why is it not more ballanced?

PS: I know hispanic is not a race but when I say hispanic I generally mean brown people (mestizo)

I think you could say the same thing about other cultures/ethnicities as well, for example Arabs, Albanians, Armenians, etc. And those are just some of the ones starting with A. :) It's broadly applicable.

I'm a white dude and my first serious girlfriend was Mexican-American, born in San Francisco, so this question was interesting to me. Her family accepted me in a sense but there was a racial and cultural dividing line which was more or less explicit.

Hard to say why. I guess in general it's easier for men to marry outside the ethnicity?
