Why does my boyfriend touch my stomach... Like if I'm pregnant or something?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years. We dont live together and we see each other 3 times a week :) which is great because we both get so busy with college and work! I'm short and a little chunky. I do have a stomach but its not overly dramatic or anything. Last night for new years eve we kissed for the new years. Instead of like touching my face while kissing me... He put his hand on my stomach. I mean I'm not bothered or anything but I find it strange lol he touched it like if I was pregnant. I was kinda nervous when he did that because his parents were right there... Lol I dont want them to think I'm pregnant, because I am not. Lol he doesn't want kids but he says with me (because he loves me so much) he'll make an exception.. Of course after we are married. He did hint that he was going to propose this year. Anyways So why did he touch my stomach while kissing me into the new year?
