What does it mean if a guy remembers my last name?

Earlier this week, I told a guy at work my last name. It's not a common name and, in fact, it's kind of hard to say, but yesterday we were talking about name meanings and he said my last name (almost perfect pronunciation). What does that mean? Does it mean he might like me?

It means he has a good memory. Instead of trying to read into and over-think his actions and guessing why simply ask him if he likes you? Can't hurt except make it awkward at work if he doesn't.
